Sometimes you just get it right. I love this quilt and so did my 2 1/2 year old grandson, my chief critic for this piece. The fabric came with these adorable cats. I added the border and quilted it. Oliver immediately knew to put it on his bed. It makes nap time even easier.
These cats have attitude!

That is one colorful quilt! Did you design all those cats? Great job!
What a splendid quilt!! You outdid yourself on this! It gives me an idea that I, you, we could draw our own rectangles, have them printed on fabric and then quilt them...wouldn't that be cool??
What a wonderful treasure you have created! It's GORGEOUS!!!
It is fabulous Sandy!!!! I think nap quilts made for grandchildren are the most precious gift we can give them.
Really delightful! Thanks for sharing. What a creative piece.
Absolutely beautiful!
Wow that is fantastic... thanks for sharing!
WOW!!!!!!!! That's such a beautiful quilt! I am sure your grandson will love it and appreciate it when he gets older =) I think my mom still has her quilt that my grandma made for her ^^
This is adorable--no wonder your grandson loves it!
What a fantastic and fun quilt that is!!!
Sandra, this is gorgeous!
No, I did not draw the cats. The fabric was already printed. Yes, there are various ways to paint or draw on fabric that can then be quilted. There is just so much time! I'm trying to do it all!
How fun! It's no wonder Oliver adores it! nancy
WOW, what a great quilt.
Love the kitty quilt! :)
OMG!! I love these cats! I love painting cats, but the more serious, realistic kind. I think I need to loosen up:)
