Life a bit more settled
I've been able to "lurk" at the terrific work by the folks in the EveryDay Matters group. Such inspirational pieces. I was waylaid by a case of vertigo and now the world has stopped spinning. I missed my regular figure drawing session, but went to an very relaxed gathering where Andrew posed while playing a game on his i-pad.
I felt good enough to go golfing yesterday and along the edge of the golf course was this peacock who was keeping an eye on his lady. The glory of the peacock blue color was breathtaking.
Another project has been a thank you to the clubhouse where we hold our art quilt meetings. We invited children from the community to come and help create a quilt. They did an outstanding job! I brought it home to quilt and it will be auctioned to support the community projects.
Since my head is no longer spinning, I can get back to thinking and creating. There is a list of projects that I want to tackle!

Glad you are better! The quilt is so bright and happy!
Wonderful on all three counts! So glad you're feeling better.
I sure hope you're doing better and have figured out what caused the vertigo! It is always nice when someone will calmly sit while we sketch! Nice sketch and beautiful quilt! When I was young, my grandmother used to always bring me peacock feathers. They are incredible!
I hate being dizzy! I had just been dizzy for about two months. I am really slow as it took me that long to figure out it was the medicine for my glaucoma that was causing it. Since I'd had bouts several years ago I just thought it was the old stuff coming back again. Like I said, I must be a bit slow in my thinking! I hope yours is gone for good. It is so hard to do anything while you are in the throes of a spell of it.
That quilt looks very nice! The kids did a great job. It's nice of you to offer to do the quilting.
I'm glad to hear you're feeling better. The quilt is magnificent!
Thats wonderful that you are feeling better, its no game when you always feel ike head is spinning (I have low iron a lot of times and if I get up too fast, the whole world spinns and I can pass out of and on)... But Im glad you got out and what a great things you have done, love the quilt, great colours, so bright and happy.
Thank you again for all your lovely comments in my blog : )
