Sketches from my trip

I just returned from seeing the grandkids in Ohio and drew a few of their toys. It was fun to see the reaction of the four year old as he recognized the items.
Of course, one needs to draw on the airplane. It's not wise to sleep near me.

My daughter is that age they are so interested in seeing their toys come to life in a drawing. I set up a blog and am drawing their toys every day for 365 days...we'll see if she is still interested after over 100 days of this LOL great drawings love the giraffe I've never seen one of those toys before.

Wonderful drawings. And I bet the 4 year old will want to see those pages again and again.

I agree you 'have to' draw on the plane, it's the only way to make the time go by! Great sketches.

Yep, drawing on the plane is definitely the way to go! I love the drawings of the toys ... I can just imagine the reaction of the 4 year old, having a grandson myself the same age! (I love that age!!) nancy

Lovely sketches, I especially like the one from the plane with the seatbacks and snacks, and the way you've added your hands drawing to it!

These sketches are great fun, kids are fun when they watch someone drawing... The airplane sketch is funny with the sleeping lady (did she see it after?)
All great sketches!!!

Lol, a sleeping person will never know they've ended up in your Sketchbook. The nice thing is they stay still enough to draw!

You could print out your grandson's toy sketch and frame it for him! That would be a great reminder of grandma's visit.
