Sketches and quilting

I'm back from see the grandchildren in Ohio. A three year old and twins (4 1/2 months), can really keep one busy. No drawing was done during that visit!

Since I've been home, I finished an small project (10x13") that included the use of "puff" paints. I just had  to do this clown. The fabric is fused on and then stitched. The dots are the "puff" paint. The background is quilted using a variegated thread and there is a fine yarn for the hair. I just had fun!

I can see that. What a great project inspired, no doubt, by your grandchildren. I have never quilted but love seeing what one can do with fabric. There is an urge there to do something, but I haven't given in yet.

Wonderful and sooooo joyful! I'm sure that one of your grandchildren will want him and love him.

I have no idea what puff paints are - but I like the effects.

I am never a big fan of clowns. But the colors here are awesome! I really like the mix on the balloons and his pants
