Here are a couple of more pages for my Sketchbook Journal with the subject of Lines and Grids. The idea for the above piece came from my visit to the Crocker Art Gallery in Sacramento. Guess that there is a connection between seeing other work and translating it to your work. I used metallic colored pencils.
This was done with black pen and colored pencils.
I can feel the pressure mounting as I must get the journal done.
It's so easy to say that I'll do it later!

These are really good. Of course you'll get it done...I set my self a target of 2 pages at least every week!
Yes - you can do it !!! All of your grids and lines are so very different - great work
These look great and so neat, I love to see how everyone is inspired and looking at your work makes it look so easy but I bet it isn't. Congratulations on the twins as well, they look gorgeous, maybe it could lead to twin grids or something similar to commemorate them. Good luck and well done so far.
Lovely lines and designs ^^
These are fun!
Nice pages. Sometimes it can be meditative to look at designs rather than "pictures". They can jumpstart ones own creativity as you mention yourself.
These are very nice! I am especially drawn to this second one, which I can imagine as a large wall painting.
Haven't caught up for a while....Great sketchbook so far Sandra.
