I've created a new banner. It's taken me hours to figure try and figure out how the computer thinks. My solution to this design challenge was to walk away. Maybe tomorrow will have the answer, was my philosophy. Slowly it all came together. Does Photoshop time count as drawing?
Now I can focus on other projects although I still have questions like: If I want to "lift" an image such as the EDM logo to add to my blog-my computer saves it in html. When I go to open it the message says that it cannot open that file because it's html. Help!

Beautiful banner and well worth the effort, Sandra!
My Firefox does this from time to time, wanting to save images as html. I'm hoping this is your problem and you can simply fix that by restarting Firefox, after which it should opt to save the image as a .jpg file. Hope it helps!
Hmmm.. perhaps you could try to right-click on the picture you like, and select "Save Image As..." and choose jpeg or jpg or bmp or gif format when you save. Even if you save the entire page(which usually is HTML file) you'd still be able to get the raw data, which are the text files, picture files, and so on in a separate folder with the same name. My guess is that you only saved the html web-file, which means you'd have to open a browser to see the content while connected to the internet. I hope that helps
Sandra - That is a very creative banner. Well done!
