In a previous post, I shared the fabric postcards that I made as keepsakes for my annual Retreat. This year I've created ATC's for 32 people. As you can tell, I was not limited by one medium. There is watercolor, pen, colored pencil, rubber stamps, and dripped ink. Yes, there are more that I haven't posted.
Tomorrow is the beginning of the Retreat. This gathering is sponsored by the Friends of Calligraphy (FOC) and is held at Dominican University in San Rafael, CA. We have a big hall where the work tables are located. In the mornings and afternoons there are quiet times-no talking in that room. A little bell rings and we walk just steps to the dining hall where meals are served (plenty of talk then!). Individual sleeping quarters are upstairs. We can go for walks, sit in the sun, read, do lettering or any kind of art.
You may guess, I'm ready!

These are gorgeous!
I love your playful style! They're wonderful!
The retreat sounds great, hope you're gonna have fun (I bet you will)! <3
These are really wonderful, and I applaud your making them all different and each one an original! It's sort of disappointing to do that and then get in exchange cards that were done once and copied on a machine. Have fun on your retreat! nancy
You're going to be making 32 people really really happy with these :)
Wow, you've been busy! They are all lovely and will make wonderful gifts.
A retreat! Wow, and an art retreat at that! The best kind. I know you'll have loads of fun. These are terrific!
Wonderful ATCs! What lucky people to receive these!
