Tree sketch

Yesterday was very relaxing as I had no outside commitments. From my second story studio, I drew our tree. I just sketched until I was tired of the project and that had such a calming effect.

Looking forward to Sketchcrawl in Davis, CA with our leader Pete Scully on Saturday, January 22 at 11am. Would be delighted to have you join us.

Wonderful tree, I can see how you could get deep in drawing it and relax away.......

The tree is so complicated that sketching it must have been something like a meditation. Lovely!

This is a great sketch Sandra, I really love bare branches!

Beautiful job on the tree sketch! You got a good sense of depth to those complex branches. I have been yearning to sketch a tree lately too. You can see their structure so well when they are bare.

Beautiful sketch Sandra! My late granduncle loved doing trees and branches with chinese ink. Your sketch reminded me of his work.
