Strathmore Journal

Being one to take advantage of a free offering, I've signed up for the Visual Strathmore Journal class. Not sure what I am doing or if I want to pursue this style of art but, I'm doing it. I'm learning to use Gesso, oil pastels and the odds and ends that I have floating around. We'll see where this project takes me.

It's fun to try new things! I hope you enjoy this class and learn a thing or two that you want to keep in your bag of tricks. nancy

I like your pages! I've been doing some of this kind of art in the 21 Secrets classes. It's fun, isn't it? :)

I like how you tied it together. I agree, I'm not sure if it is something I will continue doing, but I did enjoy learning all that you can put over top of the gesso.

This looks like fun! Great pages! It can be good to just play with no other purpose in mind. Lovely tree sketch below too!

Hmmmm...maybe I should take one of those classes. I have the same attitude as you...that I don't know if it is something I would do for my art, but just learning to use the supplies that I have would make it worth the effort! Lovely page, and I zoomed in to see what Dan was talking about...agree, nice saying!

Beautiful pages, Sandra. Ilove the colours you've used. I just recently bought myself a couple of these journals and have signed up for the workshop that starts March 1. Am looking forward to it.
