Challenges 10, 11, 12

For those who may be new to this blog, I am participating in a challenge to draw each day in May, from a list complied by the group called Every Day Matters. The pictures push me to sharpen my drawing skills.

OK, all drawings are not going to be "right on". I do have long fingers, but these are a bit creepy.

Here I was to draw my glasses which do not have frames. To get both sides even is still my challenge.

Dinner tonight was homemade pizza (no cheese).

On to the next challenges. Sometimes I tend to make the project too hard. Yet, I am learning how to use the tools that have been in my studio for years. That is a good thing!

Really nice sketches! I love the sketch of the hand and they are not creepy like the ones E.T. has ^^

Great job ! As you said, drawing hands is often difficult ans as for symetry, it's worse for me !

As Alex said, your hand is not creepy, I think you did a good job.

Congratulations on "hanging in there." Daily drawing is fun - and maybe by the end of the month you won't be able to stop! I really like all 3 of these drawings and using all of your supplies is a good thing.

COngratulations, your challenge is wonderful to look at. I like your hand, and your bed with the aerial view, and the jewelry dream.

I think you had is well done, as are the other sketches. Hands are terribly difficult, imo.

I think you did a great job on your hand!! And as for the glasses, I struggle (big time!) with them! I zoom through faces and then spend most of my time trying to balance them out! You're doing great with the challenges!

Congratulations on completing each challenge - some great topics. I like the ceramic mug and also the glasses (especailly to draw the on a face - a double challenge!). Looking forward to more drawings from you ! We are almost half way

Yay, cool sketches! I don't think they look creepy at all! Hands *are* damn difficult to draw! And symmetry isn't particularly my friend either ;)
My favorite is the homemade pizza! Looks absolutely delicious!

You're doing a fine job with these .... and, they aren't easy. Hands are really, really, hard, but you did a good job with them. Symmetry is hard too, but your glasses look fine. And the pizza? I'd love a slice! nancy

Okay so just do what you would have in sewing class for a pattern that is too long - make a tiny accordion fold somewhere along the length of the page and your fingers will instantly shorten! Just kidding. Nect time they'll be fine because you'll be watching out for them getting too long.

Your eyes and glasses turned out great. I looked at your pic on the blog and then your sketch and yep, it's you!

Pizza with no cheese. My son eats it that way but I haven't gotten used to it. I seldom eat pizza anyhow. Nice drawing of your table.

Great challenges, Sandra. You have done some really difficult ones, like hands and glasses, and did very well with them!
