Journal page

For the moment is seems that I can best handle a page that is divided into small spaces. In fact, I was talking to a friend about shopping and how I get overwhelmed in a large department store. She suggested a small specialty shop might be my type of place. Hummmm, she may have a point.

Here I timidly tried some colored pencils and my favorite Micron pens. The top right is a continuous line design that I just used, in thread, on a quilt. I'm really pleased and will post a picture when it is done. So, my zentangles help with machine quilting patterns. Oh my, one art form is related to another. What a concept!

Seems to me that this is one giant piece creatively divided into parts that complement one another! I think it is quite beautiful.

Wonderful idea - and you are very inventive in your choice of designs for the squares.

Maybe you just like a lot of variety and the smaller pieces allow you to do more and varied art (which are awesome btw).

I think this is a wonderful idea, dividing up your pages. Working small seems to be not so overwhelming....

This is a wonderful page! You've created a variety of textures, added some color, and even have a square left for journaling! Great job! I must have missed the bit about the twins?

I like small pages too! A huge expanse of white paper seems very scary to me...
Your page is lovely - so much variety and yet so harmonised.

I get totally drained from dealing with large shopping outings. One store at a time is all I can deal with. This makes sense with your divided page. If that is what works for you then enjoy it. I like seeing the little squares and the treats each contain. It's like looking at a box of candy - which shall I choose!
