Cat drawing

Recently I returned from Ohio to visit my two year old grandson (and his parents). The family has two hairless cats. I was sitting in the sunshine on a chair and Loretta thought that my lap was the perfect place to rest. Drawing a cat while it is on your lap is a good challenge. I showed this drawing to the two year old and recognized exactly which cat I had drawn. That is the approval I needed!

This is great - I love the way the drawing is placed and you have captured that 'rippled' look of hairless cats so well.

Oh, I was going to say that too! Look at all the skin wrinkles around that neck! Fabulous!

Also, I meant to come back yesterday to comment on your last post. (I was too busy at the time.) Your Christmas cards are beautiful! I do wish I could enlarge them though!

Nice drawing. Cats can be not-so-good models, always moving at the most inopportune moments. You've done a nice job capturing his cat-ness.

Great wrinkles! (I don't often get to say that!) I like the kitty lap pose.

I knew it must be a hairless cat before I read the text. Great job.
